Charity Navigator recently reached out to us for ideas for swag to give to staff as part of a rebranding and team building/bonding experience. Part of that effort was a boat ride around Manhattan. Pictured here is the swag selected for their efforts and experience.
Super Bowl LVI Thank You Gift
To help create a memorable experience for VIP guests and to say thank you to the broadcast team who worked tirelessly to produce Super Bowl LVI, NBC wanted a high quality apparel gift. Ideally the gift had to be perfect to wear for the Los Angeles evenings which could be chilly. After reviewing dozens of name brand apparel pieces they elected to present a ¼ zip pullover from STORMTECH Outdoor with the Super Bowl/NBC logo decorated on the left chest. The STORMTECH Outdoor line is Nurtured by Nature. STORMTECH is thoughtfully designed to provide comfort and performance in every environment. Mission accomplished. This is the first time the NFL has used color in the Super Bowl logo.

Custom Packaging, Multi-Item Kitting and Individual Home Delivery
When COVID-19 prevented Rutgers School of Health Professions from holding its traditional in-person graduation, the school still wanted to recognize and congratulate its graduates in a meaningful way.
SJS coordinated a custom-printed presentation box featuring multiple branded print areas, coordinated red crinkle-cut fill and a carefully arranged collection of commemorative items.
Each kit included a congratulatory letter, graduation tassel, lapel pin, commemorative socks, tech tattoos, tassel topper and custom chocolate. SJS assembled the individual components and drop-shipped the completed kits directly to students’ homes.
The result was an unexpected and memorable recognition experience that helped Rutgers celebrate its graduates even though they could not be together in person.

New Product Launch for a Pharma Company’s Birth Control Pill
We produced a very custom bag and delivered it to the client’s warehouse/fulfillment operation where the new product, supporting literature and required PI (Product information sheet) were inserted. The package was then delivered to physicians who in turn distributed it to the ultimate consumer. A very successful promotion that resulted in orders of over 3,000,000 pieces.
A Welcome/New Student Orientation kit
Consisting of a Laundry Bag and Letter to Incoming Students-Direct Bulk mailed by us. We custom made the laundry bag (even the special bag closure designed to make the package stay within non-profit bulk mail rates), printed the special Tyvek Envelope, coordinated the kitting of the bag and letter, and bulk mail delivery to thousands. The letter was printed on 2 sides, side one addressing a “Packing List” for living on campus students, side 2 was a check list for commuting students. A University official commented it was a great sight to see all the laundry bags on move in days. (Presumably with clean clothes!)
Desk Top Advertising Gift
A pharma company client wanted a desk top gift for doctors’ offices that would subtly promote one of their brands. One of the items we showed was a pen/pencil cup holder made in ceramic that looked like a small paper bag. They loved the look and idea but had concerns:
- Breakage in shipping
- Cost of shipping due to weight and size and cost of necessary packaging
- Cost of the ceramic item itself
OUR SOLUTION:
We made it in plastic and imported it direct to address and alleviate all their concerns.
THE RESULT:
They were very happy with the outcome as judged by their sales reps receiving many compliments from the recipients. In addition, we liked it so much we branded it and used it as a self- promotion gift for our prospects and customers.
A Historic Game
Rutgers University is credited with the first college football game ever played. Adding to its history, Rutgers played its inaugural BIG 10 game against Penn State on Saturday September 13, 2014.
We are proud to have delivered 55000 printed rally towels to the stadium on 3 days’ notice to help the crowd cheer on the Scarlet Knights. We only wished for a different outcome.
